This font is a literal “bounce house” collision of offbeat sans and sans-serif letterforms.
Astronaut Jones finds its inspiration in the 1962 pulp novel, “The Astronaut” by Hank Searls. As a result evolved into a delightfully offbeat serif / sans-serif hybrid font. This typeface is loaded with bounce and personality. Its Stylistic Alternates feature switches between two lowercase sets, consequently offering a more random appeal. Furthermore, Astronaut Jones also contains a few ornaments in the Discretionary Ligatures which expand on the space theme to liven things up your design visuals.
